While studying connective tissue diseases (breast cancer) and the premature aging effect of diabetes, pathologist Dr. Michael Schinitsky and Dr. Lorraine Meisner, a cell biologist and cytogeneticist, verified the effectiveness of the topical application of L-ascorbic acid in maintaining smoothness and elasticity to the skin.
